Media Matters is once again twisting the words of a conservative talk show host in order to scare advertisers away. In this particular case, Florida Family Association is reporting on Papa John’s decision to stop advertising on the Tucker Carlson Tonight show.
Variety.com published an article titled: Tucker Carlson Is Losing More Sponsors. The article reports in part:
Disney, Papa John’s and Poshmark are among the advertisers who said they would ensure their commercials would not appear in Carlson’s program in the future. In a Twitter post, the CEO of T-Mobile, Mike Sievert, even appeared to dismiss the idea that his company’s money would ever support Carlson’s program again: “Bye-bye, Tucker Carlson!”
Black Lives Matter, Carlson said during his Monday broadcast, “may be a lot of things, this moment we’re living through, but it is definitely not about Black lives. Remember that when they come for you, and at this rate, they will.” Fox News said the “they” in Carlson’s comment referred to Democratic politicians. .But the remark spurred intense negative reaction, and two activist groups, Sleeping Giants and Media Matters for America, called attention to it and flagged it on social media to some of Carlson’s recent sponsors.
Black Lives Matter is pushing an extremist agenda with its primary mission now being a petition that states: We call for a national defunding of police. This is the same extremist organization that chanted “Pigs in a blanket fry ‘em like bacon.”
Black Lives Matter advocates for hate against police and wants a “defund the police policy nationally” that will threaten the public safety of most Americans. Thankfully, there are few sane people like Tucker Carlson who are strongly challenging that agenda.
Tucker Carlson’s strong criticism of leftist extremists and their allies from elected offices, leftist media and Corporate America is refreshing to the sane tens of millions of Americans who rationally fear the violence, fear a society without proper law enforcement and fear being subjected to political correctness at their jobs and in the market place.
Tucker Carlson Tonight is hitting the issue of leftist extremism very hard. If you have not seen his show it airs week nights at 8:00 pm on the Fox News channel.
For the most part the leftist media are blindly standing with the leftist extremist movement. Leftist media together with their guests have in effect in some cases approved and even encouraged some of the violence and looting. But it does not appear that Papa John’s is pulling from the leftist media which is aiding and abetting some of the leftist violence and supporting the defunding of police. Papa John’s appears to be only dropping one of the only shows on cable news that is defending mainstream America against this insanity.
Florida Family Association has prepared an email for you to send to urge Papa John’s officers and directors to reconsider the decision to stop advertising at Tucker Carlson Tonight.

Please feel free to change the wording.
Suggested subject line:
Please have courage and show fairness to conservative programming.

I am very disappointed that Papa Johns caved to leftist vitriol by dropping Tucker Carlson for sanely criticizing the effort to defund police. Papa Johns continued advertising on leftist news networks that stand with this extremist movement indicates Papa Johns not only supports the movement but openly challenges people who dare criticize it. Thankfully, there are many places to buy pizza other than Papa Johns.
