Lasik Institute says no to Al Jazeera America.

Thanks to the tens of thousands of people across America who are supporting Florida Family Association’s online email campaigns Two Hundred Twenty Nineteen (219) companies have stopped advertising on Al Jazeera America.
Florida Family Association tapes ten hours of programing on Al Jazeera America every day. The Florida Family Association office communicates with each advertiser no less than once per week. Top advertisers are strategically featured one at a time because there are so few of them.
Lasik Institute responded to Florida Family Association's third inquiry with the following email:

Florida Family Association was close to profiling the Lasik Institute in an email alert for advertising on Al Jazeera America when their CEO responded.
One hundred eighty eight (188) companies stopped advertising on Al Jazeera America after the Florida Family Association office communicated with the companies’ CEOs and Marketing VPs. Thirty five (35) companies stopped advertising on Al Jazeera America after being profiled in Florida Family Association email campaigns. Americans have seen what happens to their political climate when the media is biased. It was not too long ago that the liberal left controlled all of the news because ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN and liberal newspapers were the only choices. The liberal media’s biased news reporting unduly influenced the minds of the millions of viewers, American voters.
Clearly the news media influences, reinforces and motivates the political positions of their viewers. America cannot afford to allow a news media with an Islamist, Sharia law political mindset to grow in corporate advertising acceptance. Al Jazeera America must be challenged. The Islamist political positions held by Al Jazeera officials and/or their owner pose a threat to changing American public policy that has protected life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
There are many good reasons why Corporate America should not spend United States' consumer dollars with Al Jazeera America. Al Jazeera, who showed disdain for Paris murder victims, is a news company that is owned by the non-democratic, monarch styled emirate of Qatar who allows wealthy citizens to financially support ISIS, supports the Muslim Brotherhood, backs the head of Hamas, espouses Islamic Sharia law and does not afford citizens freedom of the press. The ideology behind Al Jazeera is the antithesis to what most Americans believe and cherish.
Florida Family Association’s strategy was to immediately start contacting companies in January 2013 that advertised on the then named Current TV channel and urge them to pull off. The goal was to influence every major company to stop advertising on the channel before they officially changed its name from Current TV to Al Jazeera America on September 1, 2013. With the exception of one major company, AIG, Florida Family Association accomplished that goal. All major companies that started advertising after September 1, 2013 were also influenced to pull off of the network.
