The Free Beacon published an article titled Girl Scouts Unveil ‘LGBTQ+ Pride’ Patches.  The article reports in part:

Girl Scouts can now earn an "LGBTQ+ Pride Month" patch to add to their collection of "Black History," "Hispanic Heritage," and "Native American Heritage" patches, according to new guidance from the national organization.

Scouts grades K thru 5 must participate in 3 of the 20 suggested "LGBTQ+ Pride Month Celebration Fun Patch Activities" to earn the honor, while girls grades 6-12 must complete six.

This Girlscouts.org web page provides more details.

LGBTQ+ stands for Lesbian Gay Bi-Sexual Transgender Queer Plus.

Introducing young girls to LGBTQ+ lifestyles and sending them to LGBTQ+ events for a merit patch is reckless and shameful.  Children are far too immature to be exposed to gender or sexual preference situations.  A very high percentage of adolescents who experiment sexually end up taking the heterosexual path for life.  Exposing children to the least taken and highest risk sexual behaviors is reckless.

Additionally, no matter how hard a man tries he can NEVER be a woman.  And a woman can NEVER be a man.  Promoting a man as a woman or a woman as a man defies science.  It is insulting to women.  It is a lie to our children and the public at large.

Please urge the Girl Scouts to protect the innocence of children by discontinuing the LGBTQ+ merit patch that requires young girls to be exposed to Lesbian Gay Bi-Sexual Queer Transgender Plus behavior.
